Andrea was born in Budapest, Hungary and raised on the east coast. After obtaining her B.A. from Cornell University, Andrea got her B.S.N. in nursing at Syracuse University and practiced nursing at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Andrea then went back to Cornell to get her Masters in Health Administration. Andrea has spent the last 20 years working in the Healthcare IT for Shared Medical Systems, Stanford Health and Hospitals, and then Cerner Corporation, the largest public Healthcare Information Technology company in the US. Andrea is passionate about helping healthcare organizations provide quality and compassionate healthcare using IT as an enabler.
Andrea recently retired from Cerner in April 2019. Since caring for her aging father, she has become interested in helping vulnerable seniors. She is currently enrolled in the Paralegal program at John F. Kennedy University. Andrea is also on the Budget and Finance Committee for Mutual 1.
