
Born and raised in Taiwan, Jennifer Mu moved to the United States in 1979 to pursue graduate studies after earning her BA in English Literature. She earned a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, before relocating to San Francisco, where she completed a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.
In the early 1990s, Jennifer worked as a legislative analyst in California’s state capital, where she met her late husband. Over the years, she held various roles in legislative affairs with several state agencies before retiring.
Jennifer and her husband lived in Danville for 20 years before relocating to Rossmoor in late 2015. Throughout their time together, they were both actively involved in environmental initiatives within the Rossmoor community, as well as in the affairs with their Mutual. Jennifer is currently a board member of Mutual 39.
